IKAL bungalows is a privately owned residence inspired by nature and the local Mayan culture.
We designed these bungalows with high ceilings and large windows to give an outdoor feel while indoors, to appreciate the surrounding beauty from all angles. Interiors finishes are all polished concrete minimalist design, with built-in concrete furnishings. We used local wood accents for floating stairs, railings, and decks. We consider our grand palapa grass ceilings a work of Mayan art, made by hand by locals. All of our beautiful decor is locally sourced from artisans in the area.

The property consists of 3 separate bungalow apartments which can be rented individually or as the entire property for groups up to 11. We have a property manager available 24/7 to greet you and any needs that may arise. As well as full-time maintenance and security personnel to ensure you enjoy your stay on these beautiful grounds.

Guests are welcome to take these items off the property for use during their adventures around Tulum. We kindly ask that all items be returned before check-out. Please note that any missing, unreturned, or damaged items will result in additional charges being applied to the reservation.
